In May 2014 after the spring 2014 semester ends, the Penn State Turnitin service will migrate to an updated interface which will streamline access to accounts via single sign-on with your Penn State Access Account user ID and password.

As part of the migration process, we are requiring that all Penn State instructors ensure that their Turnitin account email address be set to their official Penn State address (e.g., xyz123@psu.edu) by May 10, 2014. After May 10, 2014, Penn State will implement an account migration process for non-valid addresses which could impact access to previous Turnitin course materials from previous semesters. To learn more about which email address to use in the Penn State Turnitin service, see http://turnitin.psu.edu/help/setemail/.

Users with non-valid email addresses will have their current Turnitin instructor account locked and be provided with new accounts under their official Penn State email address. The Penn State Turntin service will work with Turnitin.com to migrate previous course content to the new accounts, but the process will not be instantaneous nor will it be fully guaranteed.

Changing or verifying your email before May 10, 2014 will ensure that your access to Turnitin materials continues. To change or verify your Turnitin email settings, follow the instructions at http://turnitin.psu.edu/help/setemail/.

If you have any questions about this change, please contact turnitin@psu.edu.
